The location was not chosen by chance \u2013 it is marked by a solemn vow that the people of Raduil remember and preserve to this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to local tradition, during the war a group of soldiers from the village fell into a trap, surrounded by the enemy in this very area. At a moment of complete despair, when death seemed certain, something unexplained happened \u2013 a dense, impenetrable fog suddenly descended from the mountain and covered the entire area. Under this heavenly cover, as if invisible to the enemy, the men from Raduil managed to slip out of the encirclement and escape unharmed. Filled with gratitude, they vowed that if they survived the war, they would build a holy monastery exactly on the place where God had shown them mercy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Thus the monastery was established, dedicated to the <strong>Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God<\/strong> \u2013 a symbol of the heavenly veil that the Virgin Mary spreads to protect the faithful from danger. Today the small church, nestled in nature, stands as a quiet testimony to that fulfilled vow. Around it there is a small resting area with a fountain, while the silence of the forest helps every visitor feel the strength of the faith that once saved the ancestors of the village. Every year on <strong>October 1<\/strong>, the people of Raduil gather here not only to pray, but also to honor the memory of those who, with faith and courage, laid the foundation of this spiritual refuge in the heart of the <strong>\u201cLittle Jerusalem\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The chapel \u201cProtection of the Mother of God\u201d was built in memory of a miracle during the Balkan Wars.
