About Us

Marishki Izvor Association was founded by local residents united by the desire to develop the region into a more attractive place for living and tourism.

The name “Marishki Izvor” carries a symbolic meaning. The village of Raduyl is the first settlement through which the Maritsa River passes after it springs beneath Mount Musala from the Marichini Lakes. For us, this represents a beginning and a natural connection between people, nature, and community, with the idea of bringing together the settlements along the river’s course.

Our Mission

Our main motivation is to create a better environment for living, where our children have the opportunity to grow, develop, and remain connected to their hometown.

Currently, the association brings together more than 40 members, including both individuals and organizations. Among them are local residents, representatives of local businesses, and people who do not live permanently in the village but consider it their home and actively participate in its development.

Since its establishment, the association has carried out numerous initiatives with social, cultural, and community focus.
Christmas workshops and a Christmas bazaar are organized to bring the local community together and encourage participation from both children and adults.
The association also works to improve the local living environment. Preparations have been made for the construction of a new children’s playground, with the necessary materials and organization already secured.
